Proposed Project in Crowle

Crowle Dance, Street Beat Dance

This project will run a weekly free two-hour performing arts/dance session in Crowle for ages 6-18yrs. The sessions will take place at Crowle Community Centre and the specific style and content of the sessions will start as Street Dance but then develop following consultation with the participants. The sessions will run during term-time.

There will be showcase opportunities throughout the year, supporting local community events and galas by providing entertainment in addition to including the group in the Street Beat Dance company’s annual theatre showcases.  The project will also provide four full days of workshops during school holiday. To promote the project, free taster workshops will take place in 4 local schools; Axholme Academy, Crowle Primary, Luddington & Garthorpe and St Norberts School.
