Here is the latest recorded crime data for the North East Lincolnshire Council area for the 12 months ending March 2021, released by the Office of National Statistics on 22nd July 2021.

Total recorded crime was 17,274. Compared to the previous 12 months this is a decrease of 15%.

Key increases and reductions in North East Lincolnshire:

North East Lincolnshire has seen a 2% decrease in the number of violence against the person offences. Violence with injury was down at -13% and there was also a 13% reduction in the less serious 'violence without injury' category.

There was a 5% decrease in reported sexual offences, robbery decreased by 41% with 76 fewer offences compared to the previous 12 months. There has been a 41% overall reduction in theft, burglaries were considerably down at -39% and shop theft reduced by 46%. Bicycle theft showed a 26% decrease compared to the previous 12 months and vehicle offences showed a reduction of -50%. Criminal damage and arson offences were down by 16%.
