North East Lincolnshire

Here is the latest recorded crime data for the North East Lincolnshire Council area for the 12 months ending December 2021, released by the Office of National Statistics on 28th March 2022.

Total recorded crime was 17,879. Compared to the previous 12 months this is a decrease of 2%.

Key increases and reductions in North East Lincolnshire:

North East Lincolnshire has seen a 3% increase in the number of violence against the person offences. Violence with injury was up 1% and there was no increase in the less serious 'violence without injury' category. Stalking and Harrassment recorded a 6% increase.

There was no increase in reported sexual offences, robbery decreased by 2% with 3 fewer offences compared to the previous 12 months. There has been a 12% overall reduction in theft, burglaries were considerably down at -26% and shop theft reduced by 13%. Bicycle theft showed a 1% increase compared to the previous 12 months (2 more offences) and vehicle offences showed a reduction of 9%. Criminal damage and arson offences were down by 1%.
