Kingston upon Hull

Here is the latest recorded crime data for the Hull City Council area for the 12 months ending March 2021, released by the Office of National Statistics on 22nd July 2021.

Total recorded crime was 36,223. Compared to the previous 12 months this is a decrease of 12%.

Key increases and reductions in Hull:

Hull has seen a 2% decrease in the number of violence against the person offences. Violence with injury went down by 18% and the less serious 'violence without injury' category decreased by 11%.

Robbery offences reduced by 11%. Reported sexual offences showed a 2% increase and overall theft offences registered a 34% decrease. Vehicle offences were down by 44% and reported burglary figures were down by 26%. Criminal damage and arson offences showed a 21% decrease.

Hull saw a decrease in the number of bicycle thefts (down 45%) and shop theft continued to decrease with a 37% reduction.
