What is the Education Partnership?
The Education Partnership brings partners together from the Humberside Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC), Humberside Police, Humberside Fire and Rescue, Education and Safeguarding leads from the four local authorities, Safer Roads Humber and wider partners involved in safeguarding, education, public health and early intervention.
Members of the Education Partnership meet every few months to share best practice, hear from guest speakers, receive updates, horizon scan and feedback on anything topical, especially around crime safety.
The Partnership aims to reduce the risks of young people being affected by crime by making them aware of crime-related issues that might affect them, and provide resources and support that focus on early intervention and prevention.
What can you expect to find on the Education Partnership Hub?
This website offers a one stop shop for a wide range of educational resources that provide valuable information around crime and safety topics. Additionally, the site signposts to relevant local and national websites that can offer further information, advice, and guidance around important topics. Users can also access training opportunities and see what campaigns and interventions are taking place across the Humber area.
You can subscribe to our Education Partnership newsletters to receive updates about activities taking place across the Humber, stay informed with any resources that are in development, hear about Safer Schools and the work that is being carried out with schools and any other topical updates
