Building on over a decade of effective working relationships with schools, VCS, youth, and public services, Not In Our Community is expanding its educational resources and interventions to cover broader topics to help keep children and young people safe.
Funded by our office, they continue to maintain high-quality tools to help people protect themselves and their friends as well as gain useful insights into a wide variety of crime topics
Youth Connect
Youth Connect is a website for 11 to 18-year-olds seeking to explore new interests, develop skills and contribute to their community.
With over 250 activities – including sports clubs, art classes and silent discos – the directory covers Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. Youth Connect also lists relevant support services so young people have access to any help they may need.
The project was funded by the Police Science Technology Analysis and Research (STAR) Fund and is coordinated by the Humber Violence Prevention Partnership.
