Community Safety Fund - Gunness Village Hall

Gunness Village Hall have recently received just under £2000 of funding from the Community Safety Fund to install new CCTV cameras on their prooperty. 

The Village Hall is used frequently by the community despite it being in an isolated place. It hosts Neighbourhood Action Meetings, Parish Council meetings and School events. The Hall has never been subject to vandalism, however the cameras are there to prevent this happening. 

Dave Oldfield, Chairman, said "Primarily the cameras were set up to protect the building, but the additional cameras using the CSF grant have allowed further coverage of hidden spots, the car park, gate, play equipment area and the football pitch."
