The Secretary of State for the Home Department (the "Authority"), acting through the Interpersonal Abuse Unit, intends to make an amount up to £8,459,000, over two years (financial years 2023/24 and 2024/25) of grant funding available. This funding will deliver on ambitions within the Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Strategy 2021 and the Tackling Domestic Abuse Plan 2022. Specifically, funding will be provided to enhance the provision of specialist and 'by and for' services, with support to be tailored to specific forms of VAWG, or specific groups of victims and survivors. The intention through this competition is to fund the most promising, best-in-class interventions and delivery partners.

VAWG By and For Services Fund

|
The intention is to fund approximately 15 separate Recipients.
Our ambition through this competition is to identify and fund best-in-class organisations able to design, lead and deliver services for the users and communities they aim to serve, in order to improve outcomes for victims of VAWG. Given the importance of the role 'by and for' organisations play, this funding is exclusively for delivery of 'by and for' services.

VAWG Employers Engagement Fund

The intention is to fund a single Recipient.
Our ambition through this competition is to identify and fund a best-in-class organisation able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:
• Either have established, or a clear plan to establish, routes to effectively engage and influence employers nationwide.
• Be able demonstrate in depth understanding of the support available to victims of VAWG, to ensure effective referral pathways are set up by employers.
• Will improve outcomes for victims of VAWG, with consideration of related protected characteristics, specialist needs and/or complex needs.

VAWG Sexual Violence Support Fund

|
The intention is to fund approximately 3 separate Recipients.
Our ambition through this competition is to identify and fund best-in-class organisations able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:
• Either have established, or a clear plan to establish, routes into the community of smaller / specialist providers, support relevant victims, in order to build capacity and capability.
• Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of relevant quality standards and how these will be enhanced and disseminated to ensure a consistently high-quality service.
• Demonstrate experience in research and implementation of innovative solutions of delivering support (this to reduce levels of unmet demand.)
• Applicants or the Lead Partner in a consortium must be able to evidence specialist knowledge of sexual violence.
